COVID19 have you feeling down? Join SWANA and golf a round! Come join the SWANA Land of Lincoln Chapter at our annual 9-hole golf outing October 8th. Come and network with other waste and recycling industry professionals to see how they have adapted to and managed the issues of this pandemic, while relieving some COVID stress through 9-holes of safe socially distanced golf.
All proceeds from this event go to help fund future Chapter programming, scholarships and events. All SWANA members and non-SWANA members are invited to attend this socially distanced game.

Transfer Station Management (April 27, 2020 - April 29, 2020) - Postponed
The Transfer Station Management (TSM) course addresses factors in planning, design, operation and management of a transfer station. You will learn how a well-planned, designed and operated transfer station provides advantages and flexibility to a waste management system. Discussion of how effective communication with the public and regulators helps mitigate challenges in planning and operating a transfer station, and how planning and design affect construction and operation.
Manager of Landfill Operations (April 27, 2020 - April 29, 2020) - Postponed
The Manager of Landfill Operations course is a comprehensive primer on the fundamentals of modern landfills, including operations, site design, regulations, health and safety, cost controls and other issues pertinent to planning, operating, and closing landfills.
Offered by SWANA, the course prepares you for Landfill Management Certification, required by many jurisdictions to operate compliant and safe landfill facilities.
